EXPECTED OUTCOME

  1. That public recognition of the winners will motivate them to continue with their social responsibility projects and step up their energy to an even higher level.
  2. That the event will create awareness about avenues through which Kenyans can be of service to their country and in doing so, inspire and stimulate the interest of those Kenyans who are not yet involved in giving back to their country to do so.
  3. The long term outcome is the case studies and development of successful models for future social responsibility projects that the wider Kenyan community in the Diaspora can participate in and contribute to.
  4. These will be developed and posted on www.upendoinvestments.com and www.kenya.org.za
and any other website willing to host this information. This idea has the potential to evolve into a
    global Kenyan Diaspora initiative.

Kenya Night is an annual event that has different themes each year. The service awards will take place every two years to give sufficient time to Kenyans living in South Africa to conceptualize and implement social responsibility projects in Kenya.
